Terms of Use 

This website, kindseas.ca is owned and operated by K. Claire MacDonald. Throughout the site,  the terms “we”, “us”, “our”, and “I” refer to K. Claire MacDonald. By visiting this site, you agree to  the following terms and conditions governing your use of this site. 

Products and Warranty 

All K. Claire MacDonald jewellery is made by hand with high-quality standards and attention to  detail; with proper care, your jewellery should prove to be durable, and easily worn for years to  come. If your piece becomes damaged or breaks within one year of purchase due to error made  during manufacturing, your piece will be repaired at no charge. Please note, this does not  include broken chain. If your piece becomes damaged due to improper care or wear and tear  over time, components may be replaced for repaired for a fee that will be determined once the  damage is assessed. Please contact us at info@kindseas.ca to discuss your piece. 

We do our best to accurately represent our products to their best possible likeness. Due to the  handmade nature of our products, there may be slight variations between pieces. We provide  product dimensions in each product listing, but please note these are estimates, and may vary  slightly. 

Pricing, Sales Tax, & Duties 

All products for sale on this site are listed in Canadian Dollars. All purchases made by Canadian  customers are subject to sales tax determined by their province or territory of residence.  International orders may be subject to taxes or duties imposed by the customer’s country of  residence, and collected separately by the carrier. Kind Seas is not responsible for any  international taxes or duties.  

Please note that we reserve the right to change our pricing or discontinue products at any point  without notice. 

Exchange Policy 

All jewellery is final sale. Returns will NOT be accepted. 

If you changed your mind, or are not happy with your purchase, you may request an exchange  within 7 days of receiving your purchase if the item is not worn, and is in its original condition  and packaging. You will be responsible for covering all shipping costs incurred to carry out an  exchange. To request an exchange, please contact us directly at info@kindseas.ca 

Please note: Products that have been customized or altered by request are NOT eligible for  exchange. 

Shipping 

All orders are shipped with either Canada Post or Purolator. Your shipment always includes a  tracking number, and $100 insurance coverage. If you would like to choose a faster method of  shipment, and/or to increase the insurance coverage, you may make this request at an  additional fee. Please contact us directly at info@kindseas.ca to request adjustments to the  shipment of your order prior to purchase.

Please note: Kind Seas is not responsible for any taxes or duties on international shipments. 

Intellectual Property 

This site is owned and operated by K. Claire MacDonald and hosted by Shopify. Unless  otherwise specified, all content on this site, including copy, logos, graphics, icons, and images  are the sole property of K. Claire MacDonald. No materials from this site may be copied,  reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, or distributed in any form or by any  means without prior written permission from K. Claire MacDonald. All rights reserved. Any  unauthorized use of the content appearing on this site may violate copyright laws.
